Irises. In Greek mythology, Iris was the divine messenger between worlds — sometimes carrying the soul’s last message. In this work, her presence is tinged with gravity. A crystal sphere containing a black skull reminds us of life’s fragility, of farewells, and of the unseen passage from presence to physical absence.
