This image alludes to the Greek myth of Hyacinth, the beautiful Spartan prince loved by both Apollo and Zephyr, the god of the west wind. When jealousy turns tragic, Hyacinth dies and is transformed into a flower by Apollo. In this visual reinterpretation, the breath of the wind gives life to the blooming hyacinths — a symbol of love, rebirth, and the mystery of fate.
